#9 Cardinality

Did you know that the number nine is the last number in our numerical language?

“9 … is the highest ranking of cardinal numbers. In numerology, 9 is the number of wisdom and experience” (Bryant 2023). In numerology, a cardinal number is what is commonly called the number of elements of a set. In the case of a finite set, its cardinal number, or cardinality is therefore a natural number (Wikipedia.com 2023).

All numbers are an infinite combination of this finite set: 0123456789. These numbers are to be the cardinal numbers. If nine is a cardinal number and is considered to be a part of this finite set it is the last finite element of its set. In this context, the number ten is not part of the definitive, it is part of the infinitive. Thereafter nine, the numbers sequentially following will combine and continue eternally.

If I could leave the world in wisdom with one last, finite combination of a set of infinite words, letters, and symbols of value, according to the study of linguistics, in honor of the number nine it would be this: All I know, if I know anything at all, is that we will all end up fine.
