“It All Makes Sense To Me,

The Only Thing I Will See”

I set it all down

And placed them where I will see

Picturing the darkest of times

Heavy in the night

I’ll still remember

And then I’ll see

The depths of my history

Purges through my skin

And pins on the walls

Shelved under the sea of the world

And the shower of freedom

Never fails to wash

All the way home of this mess I cleaned and trailed all the way back to the corner of the world that I dreamed in my mind that I only see

That only I call mine

That only I will remember what happened there and what only makes sense to me here

all the time and to the world of wonder glistening under a grieving sky

they’ll never ask what or why or even how

it belongs so dearly to me

because it it only mine

M.M.
