Burrowing into tomorrow 

Into the birds marrow

Into the rotting sparrow

Through the flight of the native arrow

Carved from home wood 

With its blood settling into the soot

The stench brought the hunt to its foot

I am currently being stalked (some monopolizing, leech, vulture) and it is making it hard for me to write comfortably, but I’ll make do.
